3 Tips to Improve Content Writing
Each Tuesday, we like to share some simple tips to make your task of advertising a little bit easier. Maybe you’re a pro, popping in for some simple reminders, or maybe you’re a business owner looking for some guidance. Either way, here are three tips to keep in mind when writing your own content and trying to stand out.
- KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE – Once you know who you’re advertising to, write content that speaks to that audience specifically. If you’re talking to everyone, you’re really talking to no one. Check out this ad and the content writing, speaking directly to people standing on the train platform…. they know EXACTLY who they’re talking to and they acknowledge that in the ad!
- SIZE MATTERS – Once again, font size mattress, depending on the urgency of the message, or warning sign, in this case. Consider which parts of your ads should be larger than others.
- GOOD USE OF COLOUR BREAKS – The mixed use of the golden and white text ensures that the audience can acknowledge the message (or messages) quickly without being too distracting. We wouldn’t want anyone walking on to the tracks, now would we….
